Just got done building a computer for a customer. Biggest one I have done so far.
Intel i7 980X Hexa Core Processor - Over-Clocked 24GB DDR3 Memory 3 Solid State Drives striped 2 1tb Hard Drives for Storage ATI Radeon 5970 2GB Video Card Windows 7 Ultimate 64
3D Mark Score of over 28000
Will post some pictures in a while

We did the eVga X58 Classified Mainboard. the board is so big, we were limited on case choices, so we went the the Coolermaster Haf-X. Also went with a 1200w Modular Power Supply.

lol that thing is crazy but he could have gotten the same gaming performance with a i7 930 and 6GB of RAM. I guess just for the sake of doing it... He better be running 3 monitors in eyefinity. That thing is nuts though!

I agree, total overkill. Guy is a retired doctor, has to have the latest and greatest. Told him we could build him a nice machine around $600, he said nope, I want the biggest computer you can build. Was in on Friday, asked when the 8-core processors will be out. He said he is going to give this machine to his wife, and buy an 8-core computer when they are available.
Must be rough to have money, huh?
