I played Warcraft 1 and 2 then Warcraft 3 came out and I played it about a week, excellent graphics loved the new style but it was then I discovered BF1942 and the rest is history here.

I have always had my eye on WoW Online but couldn't justify spending an extra $15 per month when all my time was being devoted to the servers. We had four at one time at about a total of $450 per month so they got all my attention.

Just 2 weeks ago I finally bought WoW Battlechest for $29 at the mall. Still don't have that much time to play it but it is a really good game. The two servers that I play on are,

West Coast Server: Silver Hand
Name: Oldnwise
Race: Horde

East Coast Server: Ysera
Name: Xarkus
Race: Alliance

Who has WoW and what servers are you guys on?

Hey I play WoW too. Sometimes tho, i'm not really into it like I was when I first had it (I'm bored of it =p)....It still takes money out my credit card lol. I got warcraft 3 as a gift but I didn't like it...Seem'd too boring for me.

So anyway, how do you make a private server? I sorta wanna know so I can have all that tight gear thats impossible to get =p. Also is it permant, like can you play on a public server again after you make a private one. Just curious.

Realm: Shatterd Halls

Horde FTW =)

K lets see, heres one of the top 100 sites for the privet servers
http://www.xtremetop100.com

and how the privets servers work is, you goto the web site of the server, create a login name and password, (dont use ur blizz info)
you usally have to wait 3-5 min for it to go thru.

while you wait, in the wow folder there a a file called "realmlist.wtf",
all ya do is right click and hit edit in note pad, and change the login directory to the server you want to connect.
"set realmlist list.eternion-wow.com" that all that in there, that for the server im on.

BAM!! ur ready to play!

to get back on blizz, all ya have to do is change the realm list back to blizzards list.

So that's what happened to all the old regulars. They were seduced to the dark side or maybe WEB cast a spell. OH NO! :o  ;)

nah, more simple, this is a game my wife and I can play together. She isnt a FPS gamer so I am trying to spend more time with her on common interests. I have BF2 v1.5 uploaded and played right after the switch just pulled back from it for a bit. Will be back eventually.
